Last night we had strong thunderstorms that brought a welcome relief to the heat wave. This morning's temperature is great for racing but the storms changed the water quality to "red" so I'm not sure what that means for swimming. Storms also wash debris onto the roads so cycling can be risky, too bad I can't ride the bike course today to get used to the roads before the race. I need to pack my gear and get ready for that early morning wake up.
