Broad Street Run registration

Registration for the 10 mile Broad Street Run opened on February 15 at 10 AM.  When I initially tried to register I received a page error which I thought was due to the site not yet being available for registration.  This went on for 45 minutes so I started searching the web to find out if anyone had registered.  I read many complaints about the registration process but I also read that some people had successfully registered.  I switched to another web browser and after 90 minutes I successfully registered for the Broad Street Run.

 

The next day they posted on the web site that 30,000 registration spots sold out in five and one half hours.  Last year it took three and one half days to sell out 30,000 spots.  I feel lucky to have registered for the 2012 run.
