And Yet Another Triathlon

I asked my classmates what triathlons they recommended and they told me about the Nations Triathlon. This is an Olympic distance triathlon in Washington DC on September 11, 2011.  Today I pulled out the credit card and signed up for my third triathlon. It does look like a great event, swimming in the Potomac river, running and biking around the monuments in Washington DC. I haven't been in a triathlon and I haven't run more then 3.1 miles.  What was I thinking when I signed up for an Olympic distance triathlon?
